The z/OS IBM Programmers Curriculum
The Programmers course consists of a number of individual courses. On successful completion of each course you will receive from IBM a badge of completion.
The programming course covers the essential topics of programming in an IBM environment which enables you to be productive from day one. There are many areas of expertise required to program in a IBM mainframe environment. Most university’s don’t cover any of the IBM specific systems software used. Pre-requite for this course is a degree and or experience in programmers languages. Every time you complete a course you will receive a badge from IBM acknowledging you have successfully completed the course. Click on Course Curriculum to see all the courses available to you. We will outline the compulsory courses you are required to complete. The course FEE is $4,800 which gives you access to the full programmers courseware. You can do each course as many times as you need within 12 months of commencing. We will supply you with an editor (ISPF) and a COBOL compiler to download on your computer.  You can email any questions to your designated instructor for 5 months. The instructor will email you back within 1 working day.  We will also send you a pdf  (not completed yet) on how to secure a well paid job as a IBM programmer. Remember this course is specific to IBM Mainframes.
