Will I need to buy any books or any other materials?
INo, we will supply you with everything you will need including e-books and a user-ID so you can log on to our
LMS (Learning Management System). When you logon you will have all the courses available and a suggested
order of completion. You will need your own computer and access to the Internet. Our training is a
combination of simulation and animation with little reading to enforce understanding and concepts with
questions along the way to ensure complete understanding of topics covered. Apart from being very affective
way of learning it is a much more pleasurable experience than reading page after page.

Am I limited to how many times I can do the courses?
You can do any course as many times as you wish within the 12 months from when you first logon.
Although for the programmers course you have 4 months you can ask the lecturer questions and 3
months for the operators course.
Do I have a final exam?
The quick answer is no, just complete each module successfully. You can do the modules several times to achieve
this. For the programmers course there will be a final project, but this will not affect you passing or your badges.
How long does it take a complete the IBM operators course and the IBM Programmers course?
The Computer Operators course is about 10 weeks, 4-6 hours per day.
The Computer Programming Course about 15 weeks 4-6 hours per day.
If you are doing the course part time we will extend your access to the lecturer and the courses.
You will probably need to do some of the courses more than once to fully understand the concepts and facilities.
